Instruction Manuals for the English, Anglo, and Duet Concertina: An Annotated Bibliography view rss file
by Randall C. Merris. As published in The Free-Reed Journal vol. 4 (2002), pp 85-118. The article contains more than 180 citations for concertina tutors that were published from the 1840s to the present. The annotations contain considerable historical material on concertina makers, authors and teachers, performers, and publishers in the UK, US, and elsewhere. This HTML version incorporates citations for new tutors that appeared subsequent to the Journal publication and adds more than 85 scanned photographs of tutor covers. The bibliography lists nine tutors for duet, of which seven are available scanned in full on this website.

Customize Sound in firefox view rss file
When you are looking for text in a web page using Firefox's Find as You Type feature, it will play a sound when the text entered can't be found. To deactivate this, enter about:config in the location bar. A list of all preferences will be shown. Look for preference "accessibility.typeaheadfind.enablesound". You can find it faster by typing a few characters in the Filter text box, for example "sound". Double click on the preference and its value will change to "false".
