My review of the Australian low budget B-movie zombie alien horror movie. Good fun in a cheesy sort of way....

Despite its flaws, this is still a great, really entertaining movie to watch. It is chock full of nostalgia for those who grew up during the time of Bloodsport, the Karate Kid, and the Best Of The Best movies. Learn...

Movie Review: "Sin City" view rss file
IÂ'd been eagerly anticipating "Sin City" for months and you know how that normally winds up. When your expectations are so high, chances are very slim the final product will live up to its promise. But Â"Sin CityÂ" blew me...

Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl - Movie Review by MotionPictures (Brian Johnson) view rss file
Rating: 93% (S:92%, P:94%) - No cares, no worries, no depressingly burdened hobbits. Just good old-fashioned heros and villains swashbuckling their way across the Caribbean. The only thing missing is the hill at the end to bring you back to port.

Phantom of the Opera, The - Movie Review by MotionPictures (Brian Johnson) view rss file
Rating: 49% (S:58%, P:42%) - I cannot deny that Joel Schumacher knows how to put together a film. The Phantom of the Opera is a big movie, and he has handled the technical production with skill. Anyone who cannot afford the expenses of getting to New York and seeing the live stage musical can watch this movie and get the story. But Schumacher has totally deprived the film of any of the things that made the Broadway production interesting. It comes crashing down, like a certain chandelier I know of. I will not miss this film; I will not add it to my collection. Instead, I will save up for a plane ticket to New York.

Lords of Dogtown - Movie Review by Hajile (Simon Lee) view rss file
Rating: 77% (S:73%, P:82%) - Lords of Dogtown gets the action right, and for the most part its characters right as well. But it could have been a lot better if it focused a little bit more on the boys' moods and inner feelings. Also, it should have elaborated more on their collapsing friendship since it plays such a pivotal part in their lives as shown here. Overall, it's not a very satisfying dramatic structure. However, when it comes to the skateboarding aspect, the film soars high with exciting kinetic action that can really get your adrenaline pumping. So if you want a good rush, this movie can deliver.

Interpreter, The - Movie Review by Sparkster (Tom Hargrove) view rss file
Rating: 83% (S:83%, P:84%) - Its been a long time since such a thoughtful thriller has been released. In a time when genocide is still ongoing and unknown by the general public, The Interpreter is an ingenious gem, bringing the audience to its knees with its calculating chills and worldly wits. Most importantly, while The Interpreter may have a few tricks up its sleeves, it never quite pulls any punches.
