Major League Baseball Players Trust Awards Grants to Volunteers of America Local Offices
WASHINGTON, June 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Through the Major League Baseball Players Trust charitable foundation, Major League baseball players today presented Volunteers of America with grants to help at-risk and disadvantaged children and youth. Volunteers of America's local offices in North and South Carolina, North and South Dakota, Northern New England, Kentucky, Tennessee and Oklahoma each received a grant of ,000 to fund programs targeting at- risk and disadvantaged children and youth.
